Art
Projects
Being
an artist myself, I value individual creativity and expression. You won’t find any cookie cutter art projects
here, where the teacher has done most of the work and the child is told to do it
exactly a certain way. I provide
supplies, space, possibilities, freedom, open ended project ideas, and a
relaxing environment where they can explore.
However and whatever they would like to create is perfect!

- 3 ½ year old son, Eli
- Artist who loves facilitating art exploration with kids
- Childcare philosophy: I believe children should be treated with tons of respect, kindness, and positivity. They should be encouraged and allowed to explore this great big world with wonder, curiosity, and joy…. especially since they are little for just a little while.

Policies
& Information
Sickness
If your child is sick on one
of their regularly scheduled days, you will not be charged for that day.
-or- If they are coming 1
day/week we can try to find a make-up day for them.
If my son is sick, I will
unfortunately have to cancel that day, and can try to provide a make-up day or
simply not charge for the canceled day.
Tuition
1 day/week = 120.00/month
2 days/week = 240.00/month
Payment
Invoices will be emailed at
the end of the month and are due the first week of the following month. No payments need to be made in advance. I thought this would make things more simple
with billing, when there are absences due to sickness.
Checks can be made payable to: Alisha Vernon

Differences
from a typical preschool/childcare setting:
- Flexibility, in that you’re not charged if your child is sick on one of their regularly scheduled days. (…and the flipside being that if my own child is sick, I will have to cancel. …but will attempt to reschedule if possible.)
- Smaller, comfortable, home-like, more individual attention
- Very low registration fee to hold your spot. ($10.00)
- There is no 2 day/ week minimum.
- It is not required that your child be toileting independently/potty trained.
